Patrick McManus

Head Coach & Founder

Former LaSalle Vipers (GOHL) forward who developed into a team leader and top offensive contributor. During his junior career, he earned the opportunity to play up with the Windsor Spitfires (OHL) and was named Most Offensive Player in his overage season.

Patrick finished his career with the Essex 73’s (PJHL), ranking Top 25 for Most Single-Season Points in Franchise History, helping win both the Stobbs and West Division Championships.

Now coaching U14 AAA, and moving up to U16 AAA in the 2027 season, Patrick is the Founder and Head Coach of 71 Hockey, leading player development and mentoring athletes across all levels.

Kale Couvillon

Assistant Coach

Former Leamington Flyers (GOHL) forward Kale Couvillon spent three seasons as a key role player, helping the team capture a Sutherland Cup championship.

He later completed his junior career with the Essex 73’s (PJHL), winning both the Stobbs and West Division Championships.

Today, Kale coaches at the U18 AAA level in Windsor and is also a coach with 71 Hockey, where he focuses on developing athletes and building strong fundamentals on and off the ice.

Alex Cunningham

Assistant Coach

Former OJHL forward who spent three seasons developing into a leader and top contributor, skating for the The Pickering Panthers, The Haliburton County Huskies, and later the The Leamington Flyers.

Alex still currently plays for the University of Windsor (OUA), a Top Ranked Team, playing a key role in their success.

Alex is also a coach with 71 Hockey, where he focuses on transferring his skills, experience, and knowledge to help athletes reach the next level.

Josh Harding

Assistant Coach

Former LaSalle Vipers (GOHL) defenseman who was later traded to the Chatham Maroons, where he played a key defensive role on winning a Sutherland Cup Championship.

Currently in his overage season with the Maroons, he continues to be a reliable, two-way presence and leader as the team pushes for another deep playoff run.

Josh also coaches with 71 Hockey, using his defensive IQ, vision, and footwork to help players better understand the defensive zone and the details that drive team success.

Luka Milosevic

Asistant Coach

Former Leamington Flyers (GOHL) defenseman who began his junior career as a reliable shutdown presence. He later joined the Essex 73’s, helping the team capture both the Stobbs and West Division Championships.

Currently playing his final season with the Amherstburg Admirals, Luka continues to demonstrate strong defensive consistency and leadership.

Luka also coaches with 71 Hockey, focusing on building a strong defensive foundation and teaching players the habits needed to succeed in their own zone.
